HTC has open up pre-orders for an add-on that eliminates and transform it's Vive hardware into a wireless VR headset. It is a peripheral clip on to Vive and developed by a company called TPCAST, which was designed under Vive X program. It 'promises' unnoticeable difference in terms of response, implying that it won't turn it into a 'laggy nightmare'.
